After graduating from Harvard Law School in 2008, Jeremy Daw embarked on a mission to educate voters about the consequences of both cannabis prohibition and cannabis legalization. He was the editor-in-chief of Cannabis Now magazine until 2013, when he teamed up with Chris Conrad and Mikki Norris to bring their newspaper, the West Coast Leaf, into the digital age at theLeafOnline.com. His analyses have also appeared on Salon.com, AlterNet.org, MarijuanaPolitics.com, About.com, SFGate.com, Weedist.com and the Journal of Drug Policy Analysis. As a public speaker, he has appeared at Seattle Hempfest, the High Times Cannabis Cup, and Americans for Safe Access meetings. He has also taught economics at Oaksterdam University and is the author of Weed the People: From Founding Fiber to Forbidden Fruit (2012).
